We operate a “virtual studio” which allows us to scale up when needed but also remain small and nimble. We understand that designing your home is a very personal endeavor that is often your single largest personal financial investment. This is why Principal Brad Swaggerty remains the lead on every project, and will be your primary contact through the entire process. Larger firms are great, and there are many talented larger teams; that’s just not the way we are wired. We prefer to stay small, very detail oriented, and laser focused. Our boutique firm structure matches our design philosophy.

Brad Swaggerty

Principal Designer

Brad was born and raised in San Diego. With a father in construction and his mother a talented creative, it is no surprise that his passion that combined art + engineering was established from an early age. His construction experience began with “helping” his father frame track houses during grade school summers by nailing scraps of 2x4s together in the garages (luckily his Tetanus shots were up to date). Later he took classes in Junior High and High School that combined photography, ceramics, leather making, wood shop, and drafting which solidified his pursuit of a creative profession.

He earned a Bachelors of Architecture from Woodbury University San Diego, graduating Cum Laude in 2004 and later earned the LEED AP BD+C Credentials from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Brad has over 20 years of experience in the Design Industry including roles in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Building Materials, and Furniture. He has been honored to work with great people in these diverse contexts and is grateful to bring this valuable mix of design experience to the founding of his own firm.

He lives in San Diego with his wife and their two young sons.
