Brad Swaggerty

Principal Designer

Brad Swaggerty founded his Studio on the belief that the homes people live in should be as thoughtful and enduring as the lives they lead within them.

Based in La Jolla, California, Brad brings over 22 years of cross-disciplinary experience to every project — spanning residential design, interior design, landscape architecture, building materials, and furniture. This breadth of perspective shapes a design approach that considers the home as a complete, cohesive environment rather than a series of isolated decisions.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University (Cum Laude, 2004) and later earned a LEED AP BD+C credential. Born and raised in San Diego, with deep roots in both the creative and construction worlds, he brings an intuitive understanding of coastal California living.

Brad operates a deliberately boutique practice. Every project is personally led by him from initial concept through final detail — a level of Principal involvement rarely found in today's design industry. Brad does not hand off the project to junior staff. His clients invest substantial resources in the design of their homes, and he believe in reciprocating that investment.

The studio works with clients throughout La Jolla, Coronado, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, and greater San Diego who are undertaking significant custom homes and who value a design partner as invested in the outcome as they are.
